Travel Advisory

Indians travelling to Vietnam for tours/travel/work/employment purposes are requested to adhere to following points for hassle free journey and stay: - 

  1.   For visit to Vietnam the traveler should have a preapproved visa before proceeding.

  2. Visa can be obtained from Embassy/Consulate General of Vietnam in India or Vietnamese e-Visa can be obtained through the following link:

  1. All the travelers are requested to check their visa details and they are as per passport details. The correctness of their names on visa and validity of passport and visa should be checked before leaving for Vietnam. Any minor or major anomaly in the e-visa or visa sticker may be brought to the issuing authority. 

  2. For any clarification regarding visa or e-visa, the applicant may contact Embassy of Vietnam in India directly or Immigration department of Vietnam through their support contact available in their website. 

  3. All the Indians visiting Vietnam are requested to adhere to the Visa period as mentioned in their sticker/e Visa.

  4.  Persons visiting Vietnam for employment or work purpose are advised to ensure their job contract/Work permit/appropriate visa/TRC. 

  5. All are requested to respect & abide local laws/rules and show proper respect towards Vietnamese custom and traditions during stay in Vietnam.

  6.  In case of loss of passport, it is advised to file a police complaint immediately with the nearest police station and obtain a stamped police report, which is a pre requisite for issuance of emergency certificate (travel document for return to India).
