Indian travelers to Vietnam are requested to check their visa details to verify that they are as per passport details and their travel plans. Specifically, the correctness of their names on visa, validity of passport and visa should be checked before leaving for Vietnam. Any anomaly in the e-visa or visa sticker may be rectified before arrival in Vietnam.

Any clarification regarding visa or e-visa may be obtained from Embassy of Vietnam/Consulate General of Vietnam in India directly or through Immigration department of Vietnam through their support contact available in their website.

Indians visiting Vietnam should adhere to the Visa period as mentioned in their visa sticker/e Visa.

Indians visiting Vietnam for employment or work are advised to ensure agreed job contract/Work permit/TRC or applicable visa.

In case of loss of passport, kindly file a police complaint immediately with the nearest police station and obtain a stamped police report and approach Embassy of India, Hanoi (Address: 58-60 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) or Consulate General of India, Ho Chi Minh City (Address: 214, Vo Thi Sau Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City), for issuance of travel document (emergency certificate) for return to India.
