The Embassy of India, Hanoi attests documents issued by Indian authorities provided they have been attested by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India. (For requirement from MEA please contact cons[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in, cons2[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in).
In respect of documents originating from Hanoi, the Embassy of India, Hanoi requires them to be first attested by Consular Department Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Vietnam before they can be attested by the Embassy.
Important Notice for Yoga Professionals: Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has launched a Scheme for voluntary certification of Yoga professionals for which the responsibility of implementation is with the Quality Council of India (QCI). Details of schemes are available on the website: http://yogacertification.qci.org.in
Yoga professionals seeking consular services such as attestation of qualification/experience certificates, for issuance of work permits, are advised to first obtain necessary certification of QCI to enable the Embassy to render the required services.
Consular Fees
All fees are to paid through online bank transfer in Vietnam Dong. Fees in cash will be accepted in some special cases only.

EMERGENCY CONSULAR SERVICES
- Emergency Visas for applicants who are Vietnamese nationals and foreigners with residency in Vietnam can be issued on the same day or the next working day for an additional emergency fee of VND 2,308,500/-.
- Application for Tatkal Passport will be accepted with an additional Tatkal Fee. The processing time for Tatkal Passport is 7 working days. Applicants are requested to avoid calling the Embassy to check the status of their applications before the due date.
