Embassy of India celebrates Holi

Holi, the Festival of Colours, was celebrated at the Indian Cultural Centre in Hanoi on 30 March 2018. The event included the traditional lighting of the lamp, Holi celebrations with colour, photo corner, Indian food and an Indian fusion music by the group Pranavadhanam. Around 400 people, comprising of Vietnamese, members of the Embassy and the Indian community, participated in the festival. Holi festival celebrates the arrival of spring and the end of winter, and the victory of good over evil.
