The 100th birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya was observed by the Embassy of India, Hanoi on 26 September 2017 at the Indian Cultural Centre in Hanoi. Ambassador P. Harish talked of the importance of his leadership and philosophy of Integral Humanism and his focus on moving beyond individual concerns to that of the society and the nation. He remarked that the Indian naval officers best represented this spirit and approach.
