At a luncheon meeting hosted at the India House on 10 June 2020, Ambassador Pranay Verma engaged with the Members of the Vietnam-India Parliamentary Friendship Group in the National Assembly of Vietnam to explore new avenues to promote closer partnership between the two countries and their Parliaments.

The Parliamentary Friendship Group is headed by H.E. Mr. Ha Ngoc Chien, Chairman of the Ethnic Affairs Committee in the National Assembly and is an important channel for exchanges between the two countries and their Parliaments. Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committe and Standing Member of the National Assembly, H.E. Nguyen Van Giau also joined the luncheon meeting.
