In pursuance of the Joint Statement issued during the State Visit of President Tran Dai Quang to India in March 2018, the inauguration ceremony of 2nd Jaipur Foot Artificial Limb Fitment Camp was held on 30th July 2018 at the General Hospital of Phu Tho, in close partnership between Embassy of India, Hanoi, People's Committee of Phu Tho Province, Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Jaipur and Spark Minda Foundation. H.E. Mr. Duong Hoang Huong, Vice Chairman of Phu Tho People’s Council along with Ambassador P. Harish and Mrs. P. Nandita inaugurated the Jaipur Foot Artificial Limb Fitment Camp. A number of dignitaries including Mr. Do Ngoc Dung, Director of Phu tho foreign Affairs Department, Mr. D.R. Mehta, Founder and Chief Patron of Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Jaipur, and Mr. Deepak Arora of Spark Minda Group participated in the inaugural ceremony. Under this humanitarian project sponsored by the Government of India, over 500 persons with disability will be provided artificial limbs in the next 2 weeks in Phu Tho province. The artificial limb fitment camp is receiving a very enthusiastic response from the people and Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and has received wide media coverage.
